Fiber laser welding with high speed

The fiber laser beam welding is mainly used for joining components that need to be joined with high welding speeds, thin and small weld seams and low thermal distortion. Advanced automated welding systems with high welding speeds and the possibility to control the quality online during the process makes laser welding a common joining method in the modern industrial production.

Large range of use

The welding application range of Corelase fiber lasers covers precision spot welding in electronics or the jewelry industry, remote welding used in automotive industry as well as laser welding of massive parts used in shipbuilding industry. In fact, new and efficient production processes are often not possible without the advantages of laser technology. Thus, fiber laser is rapidly replacing conventional welding methods.

Special back reflection resistance system

Corelase fiber lasers are suitable for wide range of materials and thicknesses. All the lasers are equipped with special back reflection resistance system enabling highly reflecting material welding such as copper or aluminium with high welding speeds.

Single mode fiber lasers

Single mode fiber lasers combined with galvoscanners are ideal solutions for remote welding applications. The single mode beam quality enables precise penetration depth control. When using galvoscanners the control of welding seam properties and temperature can be realized by fast and accurate beam movement such as wobble.
